Background

Sohail Syed, MD, is a neurosurgery resident at Brown Neurosurgery. His academic interests are in the field of spine surgery and the application of brain-machine interfaces to spinal cord injury. Outside of the hospital, he spends time weight training, attending concerts, and enjoying the Rhode Island summers with his co-residents. He strongly recommends the Brown neurosurgery program for its excellent clinical training, collegiality, and focus on overall resident education and well being.
