Overview
At Hasbro Children’s Hospital, we offer the highest standards for diagnosis and treatment of brain injury (pediatric trauma level 1 standalone center). We are treating rare and difficult brain and spine tumors including those affecting the skull base. Another area of expertise are rare and complex cerebrospinal fluid disorders of the brain and spine.
Multispecialty clinics and programs, such as brain tumor oncology, the craniofacial, the spina bifida and the maternal fetal medicine program have a long tradition at Hasbro and are supported by the Pediatric Neurosurgery team. All the advances in the treatment of the adult neurosurgical patients at Rhode Island Hospital are fully available for the pediatric patient at Hasbro. Our diagnosis and treatment approaches meet national and international clinical standards and guidelines.
