Comprehensive Rehabilitative Care

With three distinct programs, the center meets both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation needs. Our acute care rehabilitation services provide therapy for patients who are experiencing functional impairment or physical deconditioning while hospitalized for any reason. The Vanderbilt inpatient rehabilitation facility provides a comprehensive rehabilitation program on the sixth floor of Newport Hospital for people who still require close medical supervision by a physician, 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care, and at least three hours of coordinated therapies per day. The outpatient rehabilitation program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology services, for patients of specific Newport Hospital and Lifespan Physician Group service lines.

We share our mission with Newport Hospital and its Lifespan partners: Delivering health with care.
