Background

Dr. Daniel Kwan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon and an assistant professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  He is the Divisional Director of Reconstructive Surgery for the Department of Plastic Surgery at Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Kwan received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Chicago Medical Center.  Dr. Kwan gained further expertise through a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the medical center.

He is a member of the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Plastic Surgery Research Council, amongst other professional organizations.
